We are thrilled to announce that the Student Support Network has hired a new Executive Director!

The Board and Staff welcome Wendy Stringfellow, a deeply experienced leader of Maryland nonprofit organizations. In addition to her experience, Wendy has consistently shared her passion for our mission, and she is excited to start serving our community.

Wendy brings 12 years of non-profit leadership, most recently in executive roles with Forever Maryland, which advocates for and leads initiatives to improve the environment in Maryland. As President and Acting Executive Director, she led all aspects of the business and was actively involved in initiating, receiving, and administering government and private grants. She has also been a leader at the Maryland Environmental Trust, focusing on development and grant administration. Her varied background includes a Masters of Social Work, which she applied by counseling children, teens, and adults. She has also taught English to Japanese professionals, and volunteered in leadership positions in Dumbarton Middle School’s PTA and athletics programs
