**Peace of Mind Campaign**

The Student Support Network’s Peace of Mind Campaign aims to give students and families the peace of mind they deserve in these challenging times. It is dedicated to raising funds for and awareness of the food insecurity and need that exist in our community.

Campaign Co-Chairs, Tracey Myers-Preston and Michael Preston, shared “We believe during these uncertain times it is vital to provide assurance wherever we can. We want our families to know the Network will continue to be here on a weekly basis.”

Between the closing of schools in March and mid-September, the Network delivered more than $1.2 million in food and other essential supplies to Baltimore County families – the equivalent of 750,000 meals. This was made possible by Network volunteers who came together and quickly built the infrastructure and processes to serve the current 900 families each week. Due to the ongoing pandemic, school closures, and job loss, the need is ongoing and is predicted to increase. The Peace of Mind Campaign was created to ensure that the important work of the Network would continue and Baltimore County families would have the support they need.
