We are happy to announce additional support for Baltimore County students living in poverty through a partnership with Sheppard Pratt, the largest private, nonprofit provider of mental health, substance use, developmental disability, special education, and social services in the country — right here in Baltimore County! Like BCPS, Sheppard Pratt’s schools fall under the umbrella of the Maryland State Department of Education.
When the needs of students with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral and intellectual disabilities go beyond what the public school system can provide, they can enroll in Sheppard Pratt’s specialized schools, which provide year round educational, therapeutic, and daily living support. Through their robust curriculum, Sheppard Pratt helps students meet their educational goals and prepare for life beyond the classroom
We are proud to partner with Sheppard Pratt at their Baltimore County schools to support students living in poverty as they work their way to a brighter future! We welcome the combined Sheppard Pratt Glyndon/Reisterstown campuses as our 19th Network school!
