Throwback Thursday: Towson University Interns

In honor of our 10th Anniversary in 2025, we look to our history as we move forward into the future. Throwback Thursday: Towson University Interns

Our mission to help children living with food insecurity is seen in action daily inside the 21 Rooms of Support across Baltimore County Public Schools. Beyond school walls, the Network is a critical part of our community partnering with businesses, community groups, government agencies, and educational institutions.

As part of our community commitment, the Network provides immersive internships to six students a year who are working towards their Family and Human Services Bachelor’s of Science degree at Towson University. To date, we have hosted 18 interns from the Family Studies program, 15 of which are women. By choosing to partner with Family Studies at Towson University, the Network is providing real world experiences to young adults who will be entering the field of helping families and our community. Thank you to our professors and past interns for your help! You are appreciated!
