Thank you to the Baltimore Community Foundation for your continued support of our community. Your work is amazing and we are honored to be included.
From a 1/26/26 Facebook posting by BCF:
In a week defined by snow and freezing temperatures, we’re spotlighting an organization that knows how to deliver warmth where it matters most.
With BCF support, Student Support Network provided food, winter coats, and basic necessities to students and families in Southeast Baltimore County schools impacted by the Key Bridge collapse, reaching thousands through their Community Resource Rooms across area schools. Partner schools report that having a Room of Support in their school increased attendance and student engagement in learning and strengthened relationships with families.
Over the past year alone, this support reached students 2,460 times and families 1,943 times, proving that when basic needs are met, learning and connection can flourish even in the coldest seasons.
