Stemmers Run Middle School Network

Stemmers Run Middle School joined the Network in January, 2021.

Stemmers Run Middle is located in Essex, MD. It has 808 students in grades 6-8.  Of these, 73% live in severe poverty: 587 qualify for Free Meals, 351 depend on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and 50 are currently identified as homeless.  Many other families make too much to qualify for meal assistance, but not enough to make ends meet.

The lead volunteers of the Stemmers Run Middle Network are Char Stivers, Keely Serra, and Eric Taylor who will work with school staff to fulfill student needs.
