SNAP payments are set to temporarily halt on November 1st, a benefit most Student Support Network families rely on to make ends meet.
In the 21 schools that we serve, about 14,500 students rely on SNAP benefits to eat. Beginning November 1st, more families will have to make the tough decisions between food and electricity; between dinner and heat; between meals and winter coats.
