This week, the amazing PTA President at Owings Mills High School was shopping at Wegmans when she spotted a great deal on cereal. With students in mind, she filled her cart to stock OMHS’s Room of Support (lovingly known as “The Nest”), knowing it would help feed students in need.
As she shopped, a fellow customer asked what she was buying all that cereal for. When she shared the story of the Student Support Network and how these items would go directly to students who rely on The Nest, the woman was so moved… she met her at the cash register and paid for the entire cart.
Moments like these remind us that kindness is alive and thriving in our community. Thank you to everyone who continues to show up for students with such heart, generosity, and compassion.
You are changing lives. You are making a difference.
