In the final installment of our look back for our 10th anniversary year, let’s take a birds-eye view of what we have accomplished together. The first students that we helped ten years ago are adults now, and some have children of their own.
The impacts that we have made through weekend meals, a student’s first pair of new shoes, warm winter coats and more have impacted and improved the lives of our neighbors around us. And while our mission is to provide basic necessities and advocate for Baltimore County students in need, it is also a community effort to raise awareness that Baltimore County has a growing issue with poverty that needs public support. Recent census data shows that income in Baltimore County has dropped for the 5th year in a row.
Your donations make a difference in the lives of students so we can help them stay in school and break the cycle of poverty. Every dollar, every can of food, every bottle of shampoo that you have donated over the past ten years made a difference!
