Pine Grove Middle School Network

Pine Grove Middle School joined the Student Support Network in early 2018.

Pine Grove Middle has students in grades 6-8, with a current enrollment of 919 students.  Of these, 429 (47%) qualify for Free Meals, 270 depend on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and 24 are currently identified as homeless.  Many others live in families who make too much to qualify for meal assistance, but not enough to make ends meet.

The lead volunteer of the Pine Grove Middle Network is Christina Pumphrey, the PTSA President.  She works with school staff to fulfill student needs and stock and organize the room for students, now known as “The Grove ”.
