The Student Support Network is pleased to welcome Baltimore Highlands Elementary School, our 14th partner school, to the Network!  Located in Halethorpe, the school serves students in Pre-K to 5th grade.

BHE is our first school on the west side of Baltimore County and is designated as a Title I school (To read about Title I schools, click here).  Community School Coordinator and Clinical Social Worker, Jill Savage, worked with the Network to bring BHE on board and we are excited to work with her and BHE”s two Lead Volunteers (who are engaged to be married!), Justin Knott and Lauren Wills, to build up their Room of Support! Principal Brian Williams gives his full support of this partnership!

Baltimore Highlands has already started setting up a trailer that families can use to access the internet for job and resource hunting and now, as a Network School, to access food, toiletries, clothing and other necessities their children need.  BHE has a diverse student body with over 70% of their students identifying as Black or Hispanic.
