We are so grateful to Boy Scout Troop 340, who spent their day giving back in the most powerful way! Instead of their usual plans, the boys organized a community food collection—setting up tables outside Safeway and inviting neighbors to support local students.

 

And wow… our community showed up!

 

Troop 340 collected a full minivan’s worth of canned goods (literally packed from floor to ceiling!) and an amazing $386.64 in unexpected cash donations. Along the way, they even ran into local elected officials and several former Troop 340 Eagle Scouts who stopped by to show support.

 

All of these donations will be delivered to the Student Support Network, helping fill the shelves and support students and families across Baltimore County.
