Our Development Coordinator, Jennifer Bergantz, had the opportunity to speak to the BCPS Board of Education at their May meeting (video at the 2 hours and 9 minutes mark).
Thank you Dr. Rogers and BoE members for listening to our request for funding and our desire to maintain a strong partnership during a time of economic uncertainty for both schools and nonprofits. It is important that we be able to continue providing basic necessities to students living in poverty, as poverty in Baltimore County continues to rise.
It is critical that we stand together to aid students in need so that they are able to attend school and learn.
