Good news for Maryland’s children!
Maryland was recently approved to issue summer 2022 Pandemic-EBT (P-EBT) food benefits – over $221 million dollars in federal food benefits are on the way to more than 560,000 children in Maryland living in poverty!
The Network’s advocacy committee lead and board secretary, Tam Lynne Kelley, was instrumental in making this happen through her work with legislators on this issue. We are proud to have Tam’s expertise and advocacy as we work for food equity in Maryland!
