The Network Hosts An Open House At Its Goucher Storage Facility

The Network had a great morning at our Open House helping our Network Schools stock up their Rooms of Support with coats, books, shampoo, soap, toothbrushes/toothpaste, hand sanitizer, clothes, shoes, food and much much more! We also welcomed BCPS staff from non-Network schools to come by and learn more about what we do and gather a few items for their students.

Mars Estates Elementary’s Principal (center) and Lead Volunteers stocked up on tons of items, including brand new rain boots for their students who are primarily walkers to school.

Pine Grove Elementary’s Lead Volunteers gathered books, backpacks and so much more!

Our amazing Period Program Coordinator stopped by and helped our Lead Volunteers gather necessary items for their girls.

Thanks to our youngest volunteers for helping load cars, breakdown boxes, and manage our furry special guests, who volunteered to provide love and cuddles for our staff and volunteers.

Open House treats for our awesome Lead Volunteers and school staff!

Our founder and president, Laurie Taylor-Mitchell, stopped by to chat with volunteers and staff.

So many coats! The Network had already provided hundreds of coats to our schools in the Fall but thanks to the continuing generosity of community members and local businesses we had so many more to give away.

Shoes for those snow days and gym days!
