Owings Mills Elementary joined the Student support Network in August, 2019.
Owings Mills Elementary has students in grades K-5 with a current enrollment of 800 students. Of these, 62.2% live in severe poverty: 498 qualify for Free Meals, 207 depend on the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and 31 are currently identified as homeless. Many others live in families who make too much to qualify for meal assistance, but not enough to make ends meet. Owings Mills Elementary was the first elementary school and the first school in the northwest of the county to join the Network.
